Why Neutralizing the Iranian Regime’s Suppression of the Next Liberal Uprising Matters

A year has passed since the triggering of the nationwide women-led protests in Iran on September 16, 2022, by the murder of Mehsa Amini at the hands of the moral police on the pretext of not wearing a full hijab. Aside from economic issues, this is the most controversial social-political issue in Iran since the 1979 revolution. The disruptive but peaceful demonstrations endured for four months until early January 2023, when they succumbed to the regime’s strategy of repression and conciliation. The West played little part in facilitating the reformist social-movement, which is a foreign policy error given the salience of Iran’s geostrategic position in the Persian Gulf, and its strengthening alliances with Russia and China, both challengers to the current democratic-dominated international order.
The social movement failed in its maximalist goals because of successful regime repression that exploited a range of instruments including the application fatal violence, but which also made seemingly irreversible concessions. The moral as well as the regular police, and various militias under the control of the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Command) confronted gatherings with a number of tactics. These included assaulting demonstrators in the streets, as well as sexual assaults and deliberate torture during temporary custody, sexual assaults and deliberate rape of women in prisons, as well as on the street, and direct attacks on crowds by firearm-equipped militias. In one of two recorded incidents, a 10-year-old child named Kian Pirfalak was killed. In total, at least 600 people have been killed during the four-month protests, 70 of whom were children.
Typical of totalitarian states, meaning governments served by police forces that have extensive peacetime record-keeping facilitating swift intervention against their populations, most of the repression exercised came in two forms. Collective punishment was applied against families and other cohesive groups, and those atomized individuals who could not be deterred from protesting by their associations, were targeted through their employment. In the university milieus where many of these protests were best organized, professors have been fired and students expelled, and families of those identified as having been killed in protests have been arrested.

Where the liberalising social movement intersected with anti-colonial sentiments, as it did in the non-Persian regions of Iran, there was a more direct use of violent repression. In Sistan and Baluchistan provinces, more than 100 people, including 13 children, were killed in just one attack. In Kurdistan, there are house-to-house searches, and demonstrators have been killed by police dispersing crowds with firearms. There are videos showing security agents firing at the homes where people are shouting anti-government slogans and singing resistance songs out of the windows of their houses at night. The fact that many repressive forces spoke Arabic on the street strengthened the suspicion that the Islamic Republic is using the forces of Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi to suppress Iranian protesters.
In the immediate months following the successful suppression of the movement, Hijab rules and gender segregation in universities became nominally more strict. In many public places, especially universities, subways, banks, airports, service was refused to women who did not have a full hijab. However, this was meant to cover for the weakness of the regime that, a year later, has made de facto concessions. The regime has not intervened against a broad new social consensus achieved by the four months of protest, in large part because Iranian society has achieved a new threshold of irreversible self-assertiveness. At the time of this writing in 2023, most pre-adolescent girls and  women no longer wear headscarves, although there are still publicized police interventions.
Even as far back as 2013, 42 percent of male and female Iranian respondents believed that the Hijab should be optional, and by 2017 this number had risen to 49 percent. The 2022 protests are estimated to have eroded support for the mandatory wearing of the Hijab by another 30 percent. One estimate is that in urban areas, up to 86 percent of Iranian women do not wear the Hijab outdoors. The regime’s nominal restrictions against public dance, singing or music, are now often ignored and restrictions not enforced. Public displays of support for the protesters bv well-known sports and cultural figures personalities manifests itself internationally as refusal to wear the headscarf, but domestically comes in the form of absenteeism from religious and political ceremonies. A critical shift occurred among Iranian men, who tied the Hijab protests to other liberalizing issues, such as regime transparency against corruption. The protests invented new terms: because the word “no-hijab” was associated with immorality within Muslim circles, and often used as an insult, the newly emergent normative descriptor is “a girl who wears the optional attire.”
These shifts in sentiment are also influencing the major institutions of Iran. A number of Iranian clerics sided with the reform demands of the protestors. The same is true for the surprising silence of many high-ranking military commanders. In a public speech, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called the situation sensitive and demanded that the commanders take a stand and support the regime. Citing the example of Hussein bin Ali, the third imam of the Shiites, he said that when Hussein had called his companions, they did not helped and left him alone, but they regretted his martyrdom afterward.
The principal reason the protests failed was a lack of coordination, what is technically termed a collective action problem: when groups fear abandonment by coalition allies, so that they suffer the full wrath of government suppression, no group dares defy the regime. Furthermore, there is a need for policy coordination so that groups do not fear that their policy interests will conflict. An attempt at synchronising the Iranian protest to assuage social differences in Iran, was made by a six-person council that met at Georgetown University, and detailed their collective position in a published document entitled “charter of solidarity.” However, the declared policy was so contradictory that it failed to have an impact, alienating nationalists and Islamists, two groups some of whose members were supporting the protests. Nor did the charter offer an outline for a post-militia government or constitution. The consequence of this disorganization was that even reformist Iranian members of parliament did not actively support the protesters, whereas they had sided against the government in previous economic and subsidies-related protests.
Iran’s liberalization is a core interest of the Western democracies, because removing authoritarian or illiberal regimes, when there is a middle class with sufficient critical mass, reduces insecurity that leads to war, proliferation, and terrorism. Protest supporters in the West cutting their hair in solidarity, and rhetorical support by Western politicians, did not produce much of a desired effect. The Western democracies must be better prepared to help solve the collective action problem of a future Iranian social movement. First, it should subsidizing a dialogue between as broad a coalition as possible between representatives of the different societal cohorts involved in protests. That many of the protest actions in Iran were in response to the calls for specific actions by exiled Iranian celebrities, shows the impact of coordination. Second, this harmonisation must be prompt, since economic fatigue and the lack of cumulative progress was the main reason that caused the movement’s energy to dissipate after four months.
It is inevitable that protests will come again to Iran, and each preceding protest lowers the threshold for resistance by exercising individuals who can be the nuclei for organizing cells in the future. There have been protests aimed specifically at the regime’s legitimacy in June 2009, early January 2018, November 2019, December 2019, and after the downing of the Ukrainian plane outside Tehran. The 2022 protests raised consciousness among what was termed the “grey” strata of society, who were previously deferential to the regime. The Mahsa movement has intensified this crisis of legitimacy, one of whose manifestations has been a lack of widespread participation of people in recent anti-American demonstrations organized by the government, as well as the persisting low levels of participation in an electoral democracy where the candidates are vetted by religious authorities. The Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has argued that people’s participation in elections and demonstrations against the U.S. is like a strong fist of people on the U.S.’ mouth, and their decline is a clear indicator of change.

Former Tennessee Sheriff Shoots Door-To-Door Salesman, Says She Thought He Was A Gang Hired Hitman

Former Shelby County Sheriff Monica Johnson-Markwork, 51, shot a door to door salesman on Wednesday. She mistakenly thought it was a gang hitman that was there to kill her.
She had been in contact with her imprisoned son who is serving a 20 year sentence for the rape of a child and thought this supposed “hit man” was targeting the two of them.
Johnson-Markwork saw a man approach on her security camera and fired a shot thinking he had a gun. It turned out he was a pest control salesman and was carrying an Ipad. He was hit in the chest and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but was stable.
New York Post Reported:

A former Tennessee sheriff is claiming she shot a door-to-door salesman because she thought he was a gang-ordered hitman.
Monica Johnson-Markwork, 51, of Cordova, told police that she had been in contact with her incarcerated son — who is serving a 20-year sentence for raping a child — and believed that a local gang put a hit out on the two of them, ABC Memphis reported.
Johnson was at home with her father in the Memphis suburb just before noon on Wednesday, when she saw on security cameras a man approaching her front door, according to an affidavit.
She thought he was holding a gun and told detectives that she yelled, “They’re here,” before running upstairs to hide in the attic.
Detectives said the man was actually a pest control salesman carrying an iPad.
He was shot in the chest and taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
She was charged with felony aggravated assault and was released from jail on a $4,000 bond. Her court date is set for October 13th.
Johnson was a former Captain with the Shelby County Sheriff Department. She was fired and then indicted on charges of misconduct in 2016 regarding her son’s rape case. The charges included misconduct and coercing a witness.

Jack Smith Accuses Trump of Potentially Violating His Terms of Release Over Glock Video, Seeking ‘to Benefit From His Supporters’ Mistaken Belief’ He Bought Gun

Special Counsel Jack Smith accused Trump of potentially violating his terms of release over a video of him saying he wanted to buy a Glock during a campaign stop in South Carolina this week.
Trump visited Palmetto State Armory in Summerville, South Carolina earlier this week and admired a custom “Trump 45” Glock.

— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) September 25, 2023

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung tweeted a video of the President saying, “I want to buy one.”

“President Trump purchases a Glock in South Carolina,” Cheung said.
Cheung then walked back his statement and said Trump actually did not purchase the firearm.
In a 22-page filing reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, Jack Smith’s prosecutors said Trump potentially violated his terms of release if he didn’t purchase the firearm.
Federal prosecutors made the claim in a footnote in a 22-page filing in their renewed push to gag Trump.
“The defendant recently was caught potentially violating his conditions of release, and tried to walk that back in similar fashion. In particular, on September 25, the defendant’s campaign spokesman posted a video of the defendant in the Palmetto State Armory, a Federal Firearms Licensee in Summerville, South Carolina. The video posted by the spokesman showed the defendant holding a Glock pistol with the defendant’s likeness etched into it. The defendant stated, “I’ve got to buy one,” and posed for pictures with the FFL owners. The defendant’s spokesman captioned the video Tweet with the representation that the defendant had purchased the pistol, exclaiming, “President Trump purchases a @GLOCKInc in South Carolina!” The spokesman subsequently deleted the post and retracted his statement, saying that the defendant “did not purchase or take possession of the firearm” (a claim directly contradicted by the video showing the defendant possessing the pistol). See Fox News, Trump campaign walks back claim former president purchased Glock amid questions about legality (Sept. 25, 2023),” prosecutors wrote.
Jack Smith’s prosecutors absurdly claimed that even if Trump didn’t purchase the firearm, he sought “to benefit from his supporters’ mistaken belief that he did so,” which would be a separate federal crime.
“The defendant either purchased a gun in violation of the law and his conditions of release, or seeks to benefit from his supporters’ mistaken belief that he did so. It would be a separate federal crime, and thus a violation of the defendant’s conditions of release, for him to purchase a gun while this felony indictment is pending. See 18 U.S.C. § 922(n).” the prosecutors wrote.
Jack Smith is still trying to silence Trump and cited his comments on retired Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley in a renewed push for a gag order.
The 22-page filing reviewed by this reporter noted Trump’s “Meet the Press” interview where he dared to speak the truth about Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger and a Truth Social post criticizing Mike Pence in its argument that Trump should be gagged:
Judge Tanya Chutkan set an October 16 hearing on Jack Smith’s proposed gag order. […]

The Definition of Gaslighting: Old Joe Biden Lays Out Democrat’s Tyrannical Plan for America – Then Blames It on Republicans and Calls MAGA the Greatest Threat to Our Nation (VIDEO)

This is the definition of gaslighting. This is the definition of evil.

Joe Biden’s handlers posted a video of Joe Biden viciously attacking Trump supporters. Biden describes every tactic of the left’s power grab on every single institution in America today – then twists reality to say these are traits of MAGA.
Biden blames MAGA Republicans as the greatest threat to America today.
Thank goodness Democrats have perfected election fraud. No clear-thinking American suffering through this dismal presidency would ever vote for more of this BS, failure and deceit. And Democrats know this.

Here is Old Joe Biden describing Democrats but blaming MAGA in a tweet posted earlier today.
Old Joe Biden: Seizing power, concentrating power, tempting to abuse power, purging and packing key institutions, spewing conspiracy theories, spreading lies for profit and power to divide America in every way inciting violence against those who risk their lives to keep America safe, weaponizing against the very soul of who we are as Americans.
This MAGA threat is a threat to the brick and mortar of our democratic institutions. But it’s also a threat to the character of our nation.

This is the same guy who indicted his chief political opponent 91 times!
Joe Biden just described the Democrat Party from their movement to defund and demonize the police, to packing all of the institutions of power, to pushing the most outlandish conspiracy theories in human history, all for power!
And they blame this on MAGA – the middle class Americans who want to keep America strong and prosperous.
You really have to appreciate their blatant deceit!

Peaceful J6er Will Watson Finds Solace in Prison After Surrendering to Jesus Christ – Will Walked in the US Capitol and Called for Peace – Did Not Pull a Fire Alarm – PLEASE DONATE BELOW

Guest post by Condemned USA

Prior to January 6th, Will Watson was an aspiring chef, working as the Chef de Partie at Lucy’s, the most popular restaurant in Auburn, Alabama.
At only 23 years old, Will was moving up in the world and excited to see where life would take him.
Unfortunately, on March 9, 2023, his life took a drastic turn for the worse when he was convicted of “Obstruction of a federal proceeding” and “entering or remaining with a deadly or dangerous weapon” for peacefully protesting at the United States Capitol. The “Weapon” was a canister of mace, thrown to him by someone else in the crowd.

Will Watson DID NOT pull a fire alarm.  He DID NOT shut down a federal proceeding.  He called for a peaceful gathering!

On Saturday, Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulled a fire alarm inside the US Capitol and shut down Congress.  Does anyone think Jamaal will spend ONE DAY in prison for his actions?
Capitol Police even checked Will for weapons and allowed him to keep the canister that day. They assured him it wasn’t an issue.
But the issue was blown out of proportion in a politically biased D.C. Court.  Despite having no prior criminal history and guidelines suggesting a sentence of only 10-16 months at the most, Will was sentenced to three years in federal prison.
Three years for entering the open doors of the US Capitol on January 6!

Will’s beautiful baby girl, Cattleya, was born prematurely on December 28, 2022. By the grace of God, she made it through that difficult trial with only a few health issues. While she still faces certain challenges, they are manageable, and she is overall healthy.
As a J6er, Will was forced to endure solitary confinement — a strain on both his mental and emotional help. Remarkably, he believes the experience was necessary to renew and strengthen his faith in God’s plan for his life. He says the trials and challenges that came as a result of January 6th pushed him to a breaking point — ultimately leading him to realize that there was no way for him to navigate this life alone.
Miraculously, Will fully surrendered to Christ. Although he admits it’s not easy to keep faith during such trying times, Will’s heart is now dedicated to trusting in God’s purpose.
Will looks forward to his release from prison and continues to dream — working on plans, menus, and recipes for a catering company he plans to open when he is free to pay $12,000 in fines. With God by his side, Will is determined to move forward and rebuild what he’s lost, pursue his dreams, and raise his daughter Cattleya with devoted love and attention.
Condemned USA is looking for 280 volunteers LIKE YOU to SPONSOR the Watson family at $25 a month to help his little girl and her medical care, as well as provide for Will’s legal needs.

MUST SEE: Rep. George Santos Releases “Fire Alarm Tutorial Video” and PROVES that Democrat Jamaal Bowman Is Lying About ‘Accidentally’ Setting Off Alarm!

Jamaal Bowman pulls fire alarm to shut down Congress. Capitol Police released the photo.
On Saturday New York Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon Building in Washington DC to shut down Congress.
Bowman pulled the alarm to prevent a critical vote to keep the government open.

— Chad Pergram (@ChadPergram) September 30, 2023

Today there are hundreds of Trump supporters who walked inside the open doors of the US Capitol, shook hands with police, and were sentenced to months and years in federal prison for these innocent acts.
Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison for the Jan. 6 protests he did not even attend. Tarrio was not even in the District of Columbia at the time.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) immediately called on the Biden DOJ to prosecute Democrat Jamaal Bowman using the same law they used to prosecute J6 defendants who were charged with interfering with an official proceeding.
Rep. Bowman’s office later announced that Jamaal “did not realize he would trigger the building alarm” when he pulled the fire alarm.
This is FALSE. And Rep. George Santos proved it in his hilarious video he posted after the incident.
Rep. George Santos posted a PSA for all of the little boys and girls who were students at Cornerstone Academy on how to work a fire alarm.
Jamaal Bowman was once an educator before he became an unhinged Democrat politician who breaks laws.
Jamaal was founder of the Cornerstone Academy for children – apparently the kids are taught about social justice but not how to pull a fire alarm.

PSA: especially to all the boys and girls who were students at Cornerstone Academy for Social Action because your principal may not have taught you. pic.twitter.com/bgXuEwTobm
— Rep. George Santos (@RepSantosNY03) September 30, 2023

As George Santos points out in the video — It takes two hands to pull the fire alarm. It is not a simple act. You must know what you are doing.
Jamaal Bowman is lying. Throw him in the DC Gulag for two years and let him think about his criminal act! […]

GOP Rep Moves to Expel Jamaal Bowman After Speaker McCarthy Calls for Punishment Over Pulling Fire Alarm

A GOP Congresswoman put forth a motion to expel Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) after Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy called for Bowman to be punished for pulling a fire alarm in a House office building as Congress was preparing to vote on a continuing resolution to fund the government for forty-five days to avoid a shutdown at midnight.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) screams at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) as she leaves a rally to support President Trump in New York City on the day he was arraigned on bogus local charges by Democrat prosecutor Alvin Bragg, April 4, 2023, screen image via MSNBC.
A spokeswoman for Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) offered a (lame) excuse for him being caught on camera pulling a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building Saturday as the House was preparing to vote on a continuing resolution to fund the government.
Screen image from Capitol Police surveillance video shows Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulling a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building as the House was preparing to vote on a short term funding bill to avoid a government shutdown, September 30 2023.
Fox News’ Chad Pergram reported Bowman spokeswoman Emma Simon sent out this statement to reporters, “Congressman Bowman did not realize he would trigger a building alarm as he was rushing to make an urgent vote. The Congressman regrets any confusion.”

Bowman spokeswoman: Congressman Bowman did not realize he would trigger a building alarm as he was rushing to make an urgent vote. The Congressman regrets any confusion.

Pergram later reported Bowman telling reporters, “I was just trying to get to my vote the door that’s usually open wasn’t open..I didn’t mean to cause confusion. I didn’t know it was going to trip the whole building. I thought it would help me open the door.”

Bowman is a former school principal and surely knows what happens when a fire alarm is pulled. From Bowman’s House website (bold added): “In 2009, he went on to found Cornerstone Academy for Social Action (CASA), a Bronx middle school focused on unlocking the natural brilliance of all children through a holistic curriculum, where he served as principal for a decade.”
McCarthy spoke about Bowman while addressing reporters after the House passed the continuing resolution (NBC News excerpt):
“When you think about how other people were treated when they come in and wanted to change the course of what was happening in the building,” McCarthy said.
McCarthy went on to say that the Ethics Committee should take the pulled fire alarm “seriously.”
“This should not go without punishment,” McCarthy said. “I’m gonna have a discussion with the Democratic leader about it. But this should not go without punishment. This is an embarrassment.”
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) released a resolution to expel Bowman:

WATCH: Lara Trump Joins TGP Recap on Blessed News Network to Discuss Censorship of Her NEW SONG, Attacks on President Trump, and Joe Biden Impeachment Inquiry

Lara Trump joined The Gateway Pundit Recap with Jordan Conradson and Alicia Powe on Friday night to discuss the censorship of her first-ever studio single and the persecution of her father-in-law, President Trump, by the Biden Regime.
The Gateway Pundit Recap, now hosted by Conradson and Powe, airs on Blessed News Network on weeknights at 6 pm ET.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Friday that the debut song from Lara Trump and First Class Records did exceedingly well on its first day of release despite censorship from Apple and Spotify. You can listen to the full song here:
In addition to censorship from music streaming platforms, a billboard advertiser in Times Square removed Lara’s name and her song’s title from what was supposed to be an ad for millions to see. The Gateway Pundit reported on this debacle and an exclusive interview where Lara hinted at legal action over this discrimination.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: “Probably if My Last Name was Biden, I Could Assume They’d Put it Up There” – NYC Billboard Company Edits Lara Trump’s Name and Song Title Out of Times Square Advertisement, Trump Suggests Possible Legal Action

Instead of the image below, the billboard only showed a photo of Lara Trump on a horse. It’s somewhat funny that they think that would acceptable.

When asked on our show if she had spoken to any attorneys and she is still considering action against the company, Lara said she spoke to “several attorneys.”
Lara said, “This was paid for about a week ago. The contract was signed about a week ago. They knew that it was a country song. They knew the artist was Lara Trump. That’s me. They knew this from the beginning. And then, we were about two and a half hours away from the billboard actually going up in Times Square on a digital billboard; all of a sudden, the music producer got a call, and they were like, ‘Hmm, you know, we have a little bit of a problem. We decided we’re not going to put the name Trump up there. So, are we good to just put Lara up there?’”
“They can rest assured we will be receiving our money back, or yes, they will be hearing from some attorneys.”

Lara Trump also discussed Joe Biden’s impeachment and the political persecution against Trump and Trump supporters.
Watch the full interview below:
Conradson: You previously told me that I Won’t Back Down kind of represents President Trump in the fact that despite the failed indictments, I mean, you go back all the way since 2016… The two impeachments, every everything they’ve thrown against him, and you, part of his family, the Trump family. You guys aren’t backing down. Can you speak more on that, and just the persecution of President Trump not just by the radical left but also by the Justice Department?
Trump: I think any other person would have given up a long time ago. I mean, you remember from day one, right after he delivered that speech and announced I’m running for President of the United States, it was pretty immediate that they started attacking him, and I think most people, when they were called the names that he was called when the suggestions of who he was and what he stood for was put out there, most people would have said, “that’s enough. I’m done!” But not him. Of course, he soldiered on, he moved forward, and he became the President of the United States in a really historic, unprecedented way. Obviously, all the polling showed Hillary Clinton was gonna win that election. Donald Trump really had the backing of the American people, and he changed the party. He changed the Republican Party in many different ways. He brought a lot of people into this party who felt like the Democrats had left them behind. A lot of people I heard constantly, “I didn’t leave that party. They left me.” That was in 2016. And then you fast forward to 2020, and obviously, you talked about the impeachment of my father-in-law. Absolutely insane, ridiculous, baseless garbage, of course, we all know that those were. And if you look back, especially to the first one, the call to Ukraine, man, would we have found out a lot of information we are now finding out about the Biden family and what was going on with them receiving money from Ukraine, tit for tat, what kind of a situation that was, and how dangerous to our national security that ultimately was.
Interesting, they got very upset about that phone call in Washington, DC Establishment. Hmm. I wonder why. And then obviously, you talked about the justice system being weaponized against him. It wasn’t enough that they had to impeach him twice. It wasn’t enough that there was a relentless pursuit of one man by the folks on the left, by the legacy media, by the establishment in Washington DC. The mere thought of a Donald Trump presidency, one more term for Donald Trump in DC in that White House, was too much, I think, for the swamp to handle. And so now you see what has happened. You see that there has been a weaponization that is so unprecedented, and in the worst kind of way against him. The fact that Joe Biden has his department of justice trying to throw his number one political opponent in jail is so Communist, so authoritarian, in nature. All of what we have seen happen would have broken any other person just one of these situations and yet he is not backing down. He is not stopping He is not giving up. He will continue on, and I believe that it is waking people up every single day that they see these attacks against my father in law, and I believe that that will ultimately result in him becoming the 47th President of the United States.
Conradson: The Democrats in the impeachment hearing tried to argue that, oh, the President is just “guilty of loving his son too much.” President Trump, does he love you guys?
Trump: Yes, he does. He loves us very much.
Conradson: Would he do anything that is relatable to what Joe Biden did for and with Hunter Biden? Of course, Joe Biden was involved in all these criminal acts around the world.
Trump: No. I mean, we’ve got the receipts, we’ve got the emails, we’ve got the phone calls, we’ve got the photographs, we have the schedule, we know exactly what happened with Joe and Hunter Biden. And yeah, my father-in-law loves all of us very much in our family. But no, we did not ever have a situation like this. In fact, we went so far in the opposite direction on our end. Don’t forget for so long, the Trump Organization existed as an actual company. This was a business before my father-in-law became President of the United States. So, we were in international business before he became a politician. And isn’t it interesting that it’s the reciprocal of that whenever you look at most of these politicians, especially the Biden family. Somehow, they got into international “business”—and I’ll put that in air quotes—right after Joe Biden became part of the government system here in the United States; really interesting to see. But we went out of our way to stop any new international business deals while my father-in-law was President. As soon as he got elected, when he became President-elect, he said no new overseas business deals will be happening while he’s in office. And then we did something that never gets any credit, and let me tell you, it took a lot of work to do it. Anytime there was a foreign entity who stayed at a Trump property, who dined at a Trump property, who even bought a glass of wine at a Trump property, we gave that money back to the United States Treasury because we didn’t even want the faintest hint of impropriety. We didn’t want there to be any question about what was going on with us. He was there, my father-in-law, as President for every person in this country, to do the best job possible, not to line the pockets of our family. Don’t forget he never took a salary. He donated his salary as President every single quarter. He’s probably the only president to leave the White House with less money than he went into the White House. Not anyone else, I don’t believe, can say that, and it’s really amazing. It didn’t have anything to do, by the way, with how much he loves us because he loves us all a great deal, I can assure you.
Conradson: Despite this and the clear suppression from Apple Music and Spotify, your song is doing good. I think it’s #27 on Apple Music in all genres. What does that tell you? Is it indicative that people want America First music here in this country, and they’re tired of this woke Hollywood crap?
Trump: I mean, I would say so, yeah. First of all, I’m flattered. I’m honored. Again, beyond my wildest dreams. I appreciate it. I think people are sick of the nonsense. People are so sick of the woke garbage. They want things that make them happy and feel good. They want a song that speaks to how they’re feeling right now, and honestly, that’s part of this song. I think that I Won’t Back Down can represent a lot of different things for a lot of different people, but for a heck of a lot of folks in this country right now, they are feeling the pressure. They are feeling like they can’t make ends meet. They’re feeling like there’s no end in sight. They’re feeling like they need someone to come back in and change things around. And they’re feeling like the system, by and large, wants them to just lay down and take it and say that’s it, but they’re not going to back down. You can stand them up at the gates of hell; they’re going to continue fighting for this country. And so I think that it can be very representative for the time we’re in right now, for whatever challenges people might be facing. But yes, I think it says people want more good music, TV, content, movies, all of it. Let’s go down that path. I would like to see that happen. […]

LOL! Mega-Wealthy GOP Anti-Trump PAC Admits to Donors Over $6 Million in Ads Against Trump Aren’t Working—Here’s What They Don’t Understand [VIDEO]

It took spending over $6 million on more than 40 anti-Trump ads for the anti-Trump “Win it Back” PAC to discover that their efforts were in vain.

In one example of the many ads running in the two key primary states of Iowa and S. Carolina by the Win it Back PAC, an elderly gentleman can be seen talking about how Trump can’t win because he lost the [stolen] election in 2020 to Joe Biden, who campaigned almost exclusively from his basement. He also mentions how in the crooked state of Pennsylvania, the recent stroke victim John Fetterman was able to pull off a miraculous victory against the Trump-endorsed Dr. Oz in the 2022 Senate race.

The Win it Back PAC, which relies on Republicans who don’t align with President Trump for donations, shared the results of their failed scheme to harm President Trump in key primary states by running attack ads on TV against him.

According to the New York Times, the political action committee, called Win It Back, has close ties to the influential fiscally conservative group Club for Growth. It has already spent more than $4 million trying to lower Mr. Trump’s support among Republican voters in Iowa and nearly $2 million more trying to damage him in South Carolina.
For the polling underpinning its analysis, Win It Back used WPA Intelligence — a firm that also works for the super PAC supporting Mr. Trump’s chief rival in the race for the presidential nomination, Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida.
Examples of “failed” ads cited in the memo included attacks on Mr. Trump’s “handling of the pandemic, promotion of vaccines, praise of Dr. Fauci, insane government spending, failure to build the wall, recent attacks on pro-life legislation, refusal to fight woke issues, openness to gun control, and many others.” (Dr. Anthony S. Fauci led the national response to the Covid pandemic.)
The list of failed attacks is notable because it includes many of the arguments that Mr. DeSantis has tried against Mr. Trump. The former president leads Mr. DeSantis by more than 40 points in national polls and by around 30 points in Iowa, where Mr. DeSantis’s team believes he has the best shot of defeating Mr. Trump.
Mr. McIntosh, a former Indiana congressman who co-founded the Club for Growth and the Federalist Society, makes it clear in the memo that any anti-Trump messages need to be delivered with kid gloves. That might explain why Mr. DeSantis’s super PAC, Never Back Down, has treated Mr. Trump gingerly, even in ads.
Here are a few key findings from their messaging against Trump in their ads:
– All attempts to undermine his conservative credentials on specific issues were ineffective, regardless of the setting (live surveys, online surveys, focus groups, controlled experiments). Even when you show video to Republican primary voters – with complete context – of President Trump saying something otherwise objectionable to primary voters, they find a way to rationalize and dismiss it.
-Broadly acceptable messages against President Trump with Republican primary voters that do not produce a meaningful backlash include sharing concerns about his ability to beat President Biden, expressions of Trump fatigue due to the distractions he creates and the polarization of the country, as well as his pattern of attacking conservative leaders for self-interested reasons.
The anti-Trump PAC shares the types of ads they used to attack Trump and explains how they failed:
–Every traditional post-production ad attacking President Trump either backfired or produced no impact on his ballot support and favorability (see Appendix A for examples). This includes advertisements that primarily feature video of him saying liberal or stupid comments from his own mouth.
-The best performing ads include non-scripted Republicans sharing reservations in their own words that touch on the themes and broadly acceptable messaging mentioned above. Notably, when the same testimonial-type of ad provides commentary on a specific issue in President Trump’s record, they are largely ineffective.
Because they are so disconnected from middle America, especially when it comes to understanding the “forgotten man,” the anti-Trump PAC will continue to throw away millions in their vain attempts to convince Americans he doesn’t deserve a second term.
What the “Win it Back” PAC fails to recognize is that America loves Trump, and no amount of money spent by wealthy anti-Trump Republicans or Democrats will change their hearts or minds.
For the first time since Ronald Reagan occupied the White House, President Trump gave Americans a renewed sense of pride in their country. Now that they have a chance to have four more years with a President who kept his promises and put America first and then had the election stolen from him in 2020, the Win it Back PAC shouldn’t be too surprised that Trump’s supporters have only become more emboldened.

President Trump gave Americans a taste of what it feels like to have a leader in the White House who put America first. He made us all proud to be Americans again. He rebuilt our military and made the defense of America a priority. He respected our troops, and our military members loved him.

Military members knew President Trump supported them, unlike the Biden regime, who left our troops to die in his failed withdrawal from Afghanistan that humiliated our nation.

He fought back against the evil permeating America and against the radical ideology of organized groups like Antifa and BLM, which grew like a cancer while the Obamas occupied the White House.

After years of being beaten down by radical anti-American educators and talking heads in the Democrat Party’s mainstream media, Americans welcomed a successful businessman and non-politician with a clear vision for making America Great Again.
A large part of his appeal lies in President Trump’s ability to recognize the potential in every American, including the factory worker, the law enforcement officers and first responders, the coal miner, the farmer, and the middle-class Americans struggling to make ends meet in a country where they’re mocked and ridiculed by the liberal elitists.

Americans welcomed his approach to fighting for American jobs and American manufacturing after eight long years of watching Michelle and Barack Obama push their beliefs that America is not great, but instead, is an evil oppressor that deserves to be taken down a few notches.

President Trump proved his commitment to helping all Americans when he fought to pass the “First Step Act,” which significantly benefitted minorities who face lengthy prison sentences for non-violent crimes, to gain early release from prison.

Barack Obama focused, instead, on working with cop-hating race-agitator individuals like Al Sharpton and violent groups like BLM, who both made regular visits to the White House.

It should come as no surprise that Americans of all races, ethnicities, and political persuasions fell in love with President Trump and his vision for giving all Americans a hand up, as they unashamedly supported him.

Riots and unprecedented violence from leftist groups marked President Trump’s inauguration.

The media refused to report the truth about the violence, calling them “mostly peaceful” protests.

Mainstream media and Democrat Party cable news gushed over the departure of arguably the most anti-American first family ever to occupy the White House as Michelle and Barack Obama exited from the Swamp.

America is frightened by what it’s witnessing.
America’s open borders policy began with Barack Obama. But in 2016, President Trump followed through on his promise to end the reckless Obama-era policies. Despite objections from Democrat lawmakers, he built miles of border wall. He reinforced the previously ineffective border walls, effectively shutting down our borders for the four years he was in office. Then, in 2020, with the blessing of the Democrat Party, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris reopened our southern border, allowing a steady stream of tens of millions of unchecked foreign invaders to enter our country—and Americans know that unless President Trump wins in 2024, there won’t be any end in sight of this dangerous threat to our nation’s security.

We’re watching our beloved country slip away.
American voters know what they saw while President Trump was in office, and no amount of trash talk from Democrats, the mainstream Democrat Party media, or RINO PACs will change their minds.

When the Swamp fears a leader who has the ability to dismantle their operations, there is nothing they won’t do to stop him, including falsely charging him with crimes he never committed, dragging his family through the mud, mocking and arresting his supporters, throwing them in prison, raiding their homes, falsely charging them with crimes, all while spending millions to convince them with millions of dollars in TV ads they are wrong to believe Donald J. Trump is the only presidential candidate who has what it takes to fix a broken nation. […]

“We Don’t Use the T Words”: U2 Singer Bono Refuses to Say Trump’s Name in Interview as The Edge Accuses “Substantial Group of People” in America of “Second Guessing the Principles of Inclusion and Freedom”

In an interview this week, U2 singer Bono refused to say the name of President Trump (“We don’t use the T words”), implying that Trump and his supporters are responsible for democracy having an “existential crisis.” In the same interview, U2 guitarist The Edge accused a “substantial group of people” in America of “second guessing the principles of inclusion and freedom.”
To demonstrate his Trump Derangement Syndrome, Bono raised his hands up and made a T sign when saying he won’t speak Trump’s name or talk about him.

Channel 4 correspondent Siobhan Kennedy interviewed Bono and The Edge to promote the band’s three month Las Vegas residency at the Sphere, a new venue that has an immersive AI driven concert experience. Ticket prices for the 25 scheduled U2 concerts at the Sphere range from $400 to over $1000 for the 18,600 seat venue. Transcript excerpt below.

Kennedy: “You’ve been a band that’s obviously been very political about ‘global injustice’, just what keeps you up at night at the moment, what do you worry about now?”
Bono: “Who’d have thought the word freedom and would, would be up on trial. It’s, it’s a really interesting moment. All of our life, all of our adult life the world was getting more free. Sorry, since I’m, since we were born basically and, and for the first time it’s in, it’s, it’s going in reverse. We always thought you know, sexual politics were improving, gender politics, you know, race relate, everything like that, so we’re definitely at some kind of existential crisis there too.”
The Edge: “Democracy is having the existential crisis. I mean it’s very hard to imagine argument against authoritarianism both at home and abroad when this is substantial group of people, particularly in America, who are actually second guessing the principles of inclusion and freedom. But I think…”
Bono: “America is still the best idea. It just is the best idea. It just hasn’t happened yet. I’m attracted to, to freedom. I think it’s important that we demonstrate to the world what freedom looks like, what freedom acts like, so I’m I’ll bet on freedom and, and I’m, and I bet that America comes back from what from this, uh, rather low ebb it is out of presently.”
Kennedy: “Do we get lower if Trump gets in again?”
Bono: “I hope–we don’t use the T words, okay?
Kennedy: “Sorry.”
Bono: “Um, we don’t use the T words, he’s in enough headlines.”

Kennedy also asked about the massive amounts of energy U2’s residency at the Sphere will consume. The Edge said the band will be “drawing down” carbon instead of using offsets in an effort to balance out the carbon emissions and may end up storing more carbon than the show emits.
