After years of ignoring the issue, Vice President Kamala Harris will finally visit Arizona’s border, but many Black voters have already made up their minds. According to a Suffolk University/USA Today poll, 29% of Black voters in Arizona support Trump. This shift breaks the long-standing assumption that Democrats own the Black vote.
This trend isn’t limited to Arizona. In Michigan, 19% of Black voters also plan to vote for Trump. More African-Americans now reject the idea that they must vote Democrat. They see Trump’s record on jobs, border security, and economic opportunity as more appealing.

The New York Post reports,
New polling in the Grand Canyon State shows Donald Trump making major gains with a historically Democratic constituency, driving one of his biggest leads in any swing state.

The Suffolk University/USA Today survey conducted Sept. 21 to 24 finds the Republican nominee up 6 points against Kamala Harris.
And black voters are contributing to that 48% to 42% lead for the former president, with 29% of them backing Trump in this survey over the vice president, who has 67% support among the group.
This black support, if it manifests, would fulfill a Trump campaign goal to especially turn out black male voters. A previous USA Today poll of Michigan suggests it may not be a single-state phenomenon either; 19% of African American voters in the Wolverine State say they’ll check the ballot for Trump.

Harris’s sudden border trip feels like a desperate move. She received the “border czar” title years ago but did nothing until now. Her timing exposes a failure to take border concerns seriously. Black voters in Arizona, however, recognize this and support Trump’s direct approach.

The Biden-Harris administration’s economic policies have fueled inflation and worsened illegal immigration. Their excessive spending, including the American Rescue Plan, flooded the economy with too much money. This increased demand without boosting supply, causing prices to rise. Inflation surged to a 40-year high in 2022, hurting everyday Americans.
Their weak stance on border security has also led to record-high illegal border crossings. The administration’s promises of leniency encouraged more migrants to enter illegally, overwhelming border enforcement. These policies have strained resources, hurt border states, and worsened the economic situation.

The left claims to champion minorities and the LGBT community, yet their policies directly harm these groups. Rising inflation hits low-income and marginalized communities the hardest, making it harder for them to afford basic needs. The surge in illegal immigration also strains public services, reducing resources for those already in need. Instead of fostering inclusivity, these policies create economic instability and limit opportunities for the very people the left says they protect.
It’s terrifying that any politician, including Donald Trump, has faced two assassination attempts in less than three months. Democrats continue to use inflammatory rhetoric that increases the danger, not just for Trump and his family but for every conservative in the country. Their words fuel hatred and division, putting lives at risk. Instead of calming tensions, they double down, showing no regard for the violence their rhetoric encourages.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is closely examining the rewards programs of the nation’s top airlines, focusing on potential issues related to unfairness, deceptive marketing, or anticompetitive practices.
U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has formally requested that American, Delta, Southwest, and United Airlines provide detailed records of their rewards programs, as well as information about their policies and practices.
FOX Business reports,
The department is aiming to combat any deceptive or anticompetitive practices that may occur, such as the devaluation of earned rewards, hidden or dynamic pricing and extra fees, as well as reduced competition and choice.
Buttigieg joined the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Rohit Chopra, for a public hearing in May on airline and credit card programs. At the hearing, smaller U.S. airlines expressed some competition concerns as to how rewards programs are leveraged by the largest airlines.

“These programs bring real value to consumers, with families often counting on airline rewards to fund a vacation or to pay for a trip to visit loved ones,” Buttigieg said. “But unlike a traditional savings account, these rewards are controlled by a company that can unilaterally change their value. Our goal is to ensure consumers are getting the value that was promised to them, which means validating that these programs are transparent and fair.”
As part of a broader review of the airline industry, DOT officials have met with representatives from 11 U.S. airlines to assess their rewards programs and gather further insights.
The DOT explained that airline rewards points can be accumulated through various methods, including purchases made on the airline’s co-branded credit card, flights with the airline or its partners, and other activities designated by the airline or its credit card issuer.

These points can then be redeemed for various benefits, such as flights, upgrades, or third-party products and services. With certain programs, customers can also earn elevated status by reaching certain benchmarks such as accruing rewards points.
However, the value of these rewards is determined by the terms and conditions governing their use. Additionally, the DOT noted that many airlines reserve the right to change the terms of their rewards at their discretion.

In October 2023, Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian revealed plans to modify the airline’s frequent flyer program. This came after backlash from loyal customers when earlier changes made achieving elite status for 2025 more difficult. Delta’s adjustments highlight some of the issues that have come under the DOT’s scrutiny, as customers voiced concerns over transparency and fairness in how rewards programs operate.
Delta Air Lines emphasized its commitment to customer loyalty, stating that “member loyalty means everything to us, and delivering a rewarding experience remains the top priority of Delta’s SkyMiles Program.”
Both Delta and United confirmed receiving the DOT’s inquiry and indicated they will cooperate with the investigation.

A Baltimore man received a life sentence for the brutal 2023 murder of tech entrepreneur Pava LaPere, authorities announced.
Jason Billingsley, 33, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder on Friday. He received three life sentences for killing Pava LaPere, raping April Hurley, and attempting to murder Hurley and her male friend.
The New York post reports,
A career criminal, Billingsley was released from prison after a first-degree sex offense conviction before he went on a brutal rampage in Baltimore.

“This defendant should have never been released into the community following a first-degree sex offense conviction to inflict immense trauma, pain, and sorrow on so many individuals in such a short amount of time,” said State’s Attorney Ivan J. Bates.
“These cases inspired our legislation to eliminate diminution credits for first-degree sex offenders.”
On Sept. 19, 2023, Billingsley posed as maintenance staff and knocked on the door of the apartment of Hurley and her friend in the early morning hours, Bates said.
Billingsley kicked the door in, held Hurley down, sexually assaulted her and slashed her throat, the state’s attorney said.
Billingsley poured accelerant on the couple and the apartment and set it on fire, according to Bates. They both survived.
Six days later, LaPere was reported missing before cops found her body on the roof of her Mount Vernon apartment building, along with a brick.

Surveillance footage captured Pava LaPere, co-founder of EcoMap Technologies, standing up from the lobby couch at 10:32 p.m. to let Billingsley in.
They were then seen entering the elevator together.

At 11:08 p.m., Billingsley exited the building alone. The medical examiner determined her death was a homicide caused by strangulation and blunt force trauma.

On a Brooklyn block, New York City’s most chaotic worlds have collided. Drug-addicted squatters rented an abandoned house to migrants, collecting dozens of seemingly stolen bikes and scooters. The stash eventually sparked a fire that scorched two nearby homes, The Post reports.

Even after the August 17 blaze, the squatters refused to leave the East 36th Street house in Marine Park. They continue to occupy the property despite the fire.
“For the next two days, people were coming back again and again,” a 45-year-old neighbor told The Post, even after the city boarded up the second-floor windows and poured cement across the first-floor doors and windows.
Neighbors estimated around 10 junkies and an unknown number of migrant squatters frequented the dilapidated two-story, three-bedroom duplex, which was built in 1925.

The scooters’ lithium-ion batteries caused the fire, according to the FDNY.
“They were getting into fights with the neighbors and yelling, ‘This is our house! This is our house!’” one resident of the block recalled, adding that she called the police each time she saw them in the days following the blaze.
The two-alarm fire, which took 106 firefighters to douse and injured three smoke-eaters, was sparked by an exploding e-battery at about 1:30 p.m. Flames quickly spread to homes on either side, displacing at least six people.
The abandoned house has been a source of trouble for the otherwise quiet block since 2011, when its 81-year-old owner, Mortimer Falk, passed away with no surviving relatives. The Brooklyn Public Administrator is currently managing the estate and the property.

French authorities arrested Pavel Durov, the Russian-born founder of Telegram, at a Paris airport. They now demand he appear in court over alleged offenses related to his messaging app. This heavy-handed action reflects the growing liberal crackdown on digital freedom.
Sources told AFP that police detained Franco-Russian tech billionaire Pavel Durov at Le Bourget airport. French investigators issued the arrest warrant as part of a probe into claims of fraud, drug trafficking, organized crime, promoting terrorism, and cyberbullying. Durov is now set to appear in court.
This aggressive move shows how far liberal authorities will go to smear a digital innovator who refuses to bow to their control.
The Guardian reports,
Durov is accused of failing to take action to curb the criminal use of his platform and was stopped after arriving in Paris from Baku on his private jet on Saturday night. “Enough of Telegram’s impunity,” said one investigator who expressed surprise that Durov flew to Paris knowing he was a wanted man.

Russian authorities have accused France of “refusing to cooperate”. The Russian embassy in Paris has asked for access to Durov and said France had so far “avoided engagement” on the situation.
Durov left Russia in 2014 after refusing to comply with Kremlin demands to shut down opposition groups on the VK social network that he founded when he was 22. He left VK after a dispute with its Kremlin-linked owners and turned his focus to Telegram, the app he founded with his brother Nikolai in 2013.
Telegram started out like any other messaging app but quickly evolved into a robust social network. Unlike its competitors, Telegram allows users not just to chat one-on-one but to join massive groups of up to 200,000 people.

Users can also create broadcast channels to share their messages widely and openly discuss ideas—something that clearly makes liberal governments uncomfortable.
Writing on X after the arrest, the rightwing US commentator and conspiracy theorist Tucker Carlson described Durov as “a living warning to any platform owner who refuses to censor the truth at the behest of governments and intel agencies”.
In an interview with Carlson earlier this year, Durov said the app should remain a “neutral platform” and not “a player in geopolitics”.
In the interview, Durov said he got the idea to launch an encrypted messaging app after coming under pressure from the Russian government when working at VK.
He said users “love the independence” of the Telegram app. “They also love the privacy, the freedom, [there are] a lot of reasons why somebody would switch to Telegram,” he told Carlson.

Adding to the discontent, a Black woman from Chicago posted a TikTok supporting the upcoming DNC protests. She expressed frustration over Venezuelans being dropped off, leading to increased crime and a sense of government betrayal. She emphasized that Black Americans have their own fight, which doesn’t align with the DNC’s agenda. She also noted that eight organizations plan to protest, highlighting the growing divide between the Democratic Party and the Black community.

Black Americans are fed up with being used as political pawns by a party pushing a radical agenda over their safety. Michelle Obama’s blatant anti-whiteness was a transparent attempt to rally Black voters by dividing America along racial lines. But this tactic is wearing thin. The real threat to our communities isn’t systemic racism—it’s the crime and violence that Democrats refuse to address.

According to the Mayor’s office, New York City will spend $4.75 billion on illegal immigrant resources next year, with $10 billion projected over three years.
New York City’s “sanctuary city” policies shield many illegal immigrants from deportation, making it a prime destination for those crossing the southern border into the U.S.
The Daily Signal reports,
New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ budget office forecasts serving 36,939 illegal immigrant households to the tune of an average of $352 per night in the city government’s fiscal year 2025, which runs from July 1 through next June 30.
Multiply the estimated costs of illegal alien households by the average nightly cost, multiply that by 365, and the total is $4.75 billion, according to the mayor’s Office of Management and Budget.

In May, New York City announced an executive budget totaling $111.62 billion for fiscal year 2025.
Adams, a Democrat, said about 212,000 illegal aliens have arrived in New York City in recent years, and he advocates for a clear path for these migrants to attain work in the U.S.
“New York’s migrant crisis was an entirely foreseeable consequence of [President Joe] Biden releasing or paroling millions of indigent, inadmissible aliens in a few short years,” Simon Hankinson, a senior research fellow in The Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, told The Daily Signal.
“I would love to hear [Vice President Kamala] Harris’ policy ideas on this for 2024, but I don’t see anything here on her website,” Hankinson said.
New York City announced it spent $3.79 billion on the illegal immigration crisis during the fiscal year 2024, which concluded on June 30.
Out of the total, over $3 billion was divided between “housing, rent, and initial setup” and “services and supplies.” The remaining $674 million covered food, medical care, IT, administrative expenses, and other costs.

Besides setting up tent communities, the city has also utilized hotels and various facilities to accommodate illegal immigrants.
In fiscal year 2023, the city spent $1.45 billion on the illegal immigration crisis during the Biden-Harris administration. When that number is added to what was spent in fiscal 2024 and what is budgeted for fiscal 2025, the crisis will have cost the Big Apple nearly $10 billion by next June 30.
Masses of illegal aliens crowded on the streets of New York City without a way to earn a living is “a receipt for disaster,” Adams said during an interview Wednesday on FOX 5 New York.
“We need to give people the ability to work. We need to allow them to take the next step on their journey,” the mayor said.
Adams is scheduled to speak next week at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where Harris officially will be nominated for president. The vice president replaced Biden at the top of the ticket when he stepped aside last month.

Now a new bombshell study has revealed the devastating impact this has had on school life, with 26 percent of public schools reporting that a lack of focus among ‘iPad’ students has had a ‘severe negative impact’ on teacher morale.

On top of low morale, a separate April study revealed that 92 percent of leadership at public schools were concerned that students were not meeting academic standards, according to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Two years ago, the NCES disclosed that a shocking 44 percent of public schools were operating with staffing shortages. At the same time, teacher job satisfaction hit an all-time low, with only 12 percent of educators expressing contentment, according to a 2022 report from Brown University.
As reported by Statista, in May of this year, a staggering 59,000 teachers and other educational staff quit their positions across the United States. Many left their increasingly unappreciated roles in search of more ‘fulfilling’ careers, underscoring the deepening crisis in our education system.
‘It’s chaos right now,’ a special education teacher who works in San Diego County told DailyMail.com, adding that she teaches ‘kids with severe ADHD who are also iPad babies and [their course load] is so difficult for their attention span.’
Mitchell Rutherford, a 35-year-old educator with over a decade in the field, was one of the teachers compelled to resign. In May, he stepped down from his role as a biology teacher at Sahuaro High School in Tucson, Arizona.

‘I was beginning to think I was the problem,’ Rutherford told the Wall Street Journal.
‘Part of me feels like I’m abandoning these kids,’ he said. ‘I tell kids to do hard things all the time and now I’m leaving? But I decided I’m going to try something else that doesn’t completely consume me and drain me.’
Numerous teachers are turning to TikTok to voice their frustrations because of disruptive classroom behavior.
