Bergara Adds New Wyoming Long Range Training Facility

The Bergara Academy Long Range Shooting School has an additional new location in Wyoming at the Queen Mountain Ranch outside Evanston. It joins the existing location in Montana. Bergara will offer a series of 2-day “Beginner Western Hunter” classes running from May through August. Shooters will learn to engage targets out to 1,000 yards in hunting scenarios.

Bergara @ TFB:

These classes include the use of a Bergara Wilderness Carbon HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor, ammunition, and all other supplies necessary for the course. Food and lodging are also included in the $2,195 class price, along with transportation to and from the lodge from the Salt Lake City International Airport. All that shooters need to supply is their own clothing, day pack, and sunscreen.

The Queen Mountain Ranch sits near the Utah-Wyoming border on the north slope of the Uinta Mountains. Bergara advertises this as a high-altitude class, and the lodge sits above 8,000 feet of elevation. Animal targets are available at various ranges extending past 1,400 yards.
