Welcome everyone to the 214th edition of ‘Hot Gat or Fudd Crap?’, one of our many series here on TFB. If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only have Fudd appeal? Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.
In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the Custom Winchester 1300 was a hot gat.
At this time the original auction is still up with zero bids and no reserve. We can only hope this Winchester Speed Pump can find its way to a new home in the very near future.
In this week’s edition of HGFC, we look at a custom Glock 19 chambered in 9mm. As is tradition, this Arizona-themed gat is currently up for sale on GunBroker for $3,600.

It is your responsibility to inspect the firearm fully when picking it up from your local dealer. In the rare case that there is anything wrong with the firearm, or it was damaged in shipping; you need to reject the firearm and contact us immediately to fix the issue. Most, if not all, firearms sold here will be one of a kind. Once the firearm has been checked out and registered in your name via 4473 there is nothing, we are able to do, so please inspect the firearm carefully. Once the firearm is registered in your name whether you shot it or not, it is legally a used firearm under federal law and cannot be returned.
All firearms sold must be sent to an FFL Dealer to be received or can be picked up in store after a successful approval of a 4473 form. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know their local laws regarding firearms/ammunition. Know the laws before you purchase! Do not buy for others!

Usually, guns like this are reserved for the state of Texas, but I guess Arizona is finally stepping up to the plate with this one. It always interests me when I see guns like this. Because if you’re really going to spend all this money, why not start with a 5th Gen Glock?
Look, I’ll give credit where credit is due, and this is undoubtedly one of the best laser engraving and laser stippling jobs I’ve ever seen. Granted it’s a lot of gold on a brown Glock frame, but all the work is very well done. I still don’t think that justifies the price.
What do you think? Is this custom Glock 19 worth it for $3,600 or would you rather buy a handful of regular Glocks instead? As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
