New Apache 1911 from Watchtower Firearms Is In Production

Watchtower Firearms is a new gun company that emerged out of Texas in 2023. The brand name is an homage to the US military forces who fought in the Pacific Theater during World War II’s Guadalcanal Campaign, which was codenamed Operation Watchtower. Among other products, the company is launching a menu of AR-style offerings as well as one initial handgun model, which they have named the Apache. The Apache is a double-stack 1911 that is designed and marketed chiefly with the competitive shooter in mind. Watchtower has announced that these handguns are now in full production, with shipment expected to begin later this year. Read more about the Apache 1911 in the company’s press release copied below.

Key enhancements of the APACHE 1911 include:

  • Integrated Compensator: Ensuring steady and on-target shots.
