Industry-leading eyewear manufacturer, Bolle, has recently unveiled its new Gunfire 2.0 protective eyewear system. Engineered with the needs of shooters in mind, the system offers swappable lenses and temples. This state-of-the-art eyewear allows users to easily alter their glasses’ tint to match varying light conditions – be it indoors or outdoors.
The Gunfire 2.0 kit is designed to cater to a multitude of scenarios. It includes clear lenses for indoor applications and copper lenses that can be utilized either indoors or outdoors. The kit also incorporates smoke lenses specifically designed for outdoor usage. Focusing on durable high quality fabrication, each lens is certified to STANAG 4296 standards, ANSI Z87.1, and MIL-PRF 32432 ratings.
As part of its innovative eyewear technology, Bolle integrates Platinum fog-resistant and scratch-resistant technology into the Gunfire 2.0 lenses. This application enhances the lens lifespan while simultaneously maintaining clear and uninterrupted vision in diverse environments.
In addition to the Gunfire 2.0, Bolle has also launched its new Altus and Knox protective glasses for 2024. Maintaining the company’s quality standards, both models are ANSI Z87.1 certified and are available in multiple colors. Like their Gunfire 2.0 counterpart, the Altus and Knox glasses are available with either Platinum or Platinum Lite coatings.
“Our Altus and Knox glasses are intended for users such as law enforcement personnel,” shared a staff member from Bolle, delineating their commitment to serving the needs of those in high-intensity professions.
Getting your hands on these sophisticated eyewear systems comes with a reasonable price tag. The Bolle Gunfire 2.0 is slated with an MSRP of $76 and comes complete with a sturdy hard case, three sets of interchangeable lenses, and bi-material temples. On the other hand, the smoke-tinted Knox and Altus models are priced at $77, while their polarized and silver alternatives come in at $104.
