S&T at Homeland Security Week

Join the Science and Technology Directorate at the Homeland Security Week conference, January 23-24 in Arlington, VA. Hosted by the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement, the annual Homeland Security Week brings together the top minds in homeland defense and security to discuss the evolving landscape in border security, cybersecurity, and biometrics.

Under Secretary Dimitri Kusnezov will deliver the keynote address, highlighting the importance of science and technology advances in preparing the Department for an unpredictable future, on Tuesday, January 23. On Wednesday, January 24, Arun Vermury, Senior Advisor for Biometrics and Identity Technologies, will join a panel on the future of biometrics and identity technology across DHS.
