Chaya Raichik, the woman behind the viral Libs of TikTok social media account critical of leftist sexualization of children, filmed as she headed to Congress to hand-deliver an ethics complaint to Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY).
“Dropping off mail for the congresswoman,” Raichik told an AOC staffer as she arrived at the Democrat’s DC office.
“So basically a few weeks ago, AOC lied about me in a committee hearing,” Raichik told the staffer.
“So I tried to come last week and tried to talk to her, but she kind of cowered away, wasn’t interested in talking to me. So, together with Mike from the Heritage Foundation Oversight, he helped me file this ethics complaint, so we filed that. And if you can give it to AOC…”
“Sure,” the staffer replied.
Raichik later encountered AOC inside the Capitol, but the far left Democrat quickly scrammed evidently displeased with the interaction.
“I just delivered an ethics complaint to your office because you lied about me in a committee hearing,” Raichik told AOC after bumping into her and posing for a picture.
“Oh hi, no I actually didn’t,” AOC responded after being caught off guard.
“You’re actually super transphobic and I never want to share a space with you,” AOC told Raichik before marching off.
The complaint launched by the Heritage Foundation claimed AOC was “falsely accusing” and “defaming” Raichik – a private citizen – when the congresswoman told a House Oversight Committee hearing in February that Libs of TikTok pushed misinformation about a hospital removing the wombs of healthy females.
“Are you aware… that from August 11th to August 16th that account posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?” Ocasio-Cortez asked a former Twitter executive about Raichik’s tweet.
Libs of Tiktok in a tweet last August claimed the Boston Children’s Hospital was offering “gender affirming hysterectomies” for young girls, citing a video from the hospital itself advertising the surgical procedures.
